General Food Pantry Information (Please see above for changes during COVID-19 Crisis)

Families and individuals who meet income guidelines can choose free food pantry items once a week. Food pantry is open to Lisbon and Mount Vernon residents, or those who have children open-enrolled in either school district.  If you receive SNAP benefits or free and reduced lunches, you automatically qualify for food pantry. Call for more details about income guidelines.

Basic pantry foods can be picked up Tuesday-Friday from 9:00-4:00. Additional bread, bakery and fresh produce items are available Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

The amount of food received each week is based on family size and intended to provide 2-3 meals each week. Pantry items change based on availability, but always include meats, soups, fruits, vegetables, pastas and breakfast items.

How can I help?

Your donations are essential to keeping our pantry well-stocked. Canned goods, fresh produce, dairy, and eggs are always helpful. Our clients also love to receive household items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry soap. Call or email us today to see what you can share with us!
