Volunteers drive Lisbon and Mount Vernon seniors to medical appointments free of charge. Local residents age 60 and older qualify for this program. Call to sign up.
48 hours notice is needed prior to appointments. Transportation is available to local appointments as well as appointments in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
Volunteers can receive reimbursement for mileage, thanks to funding from the Heritage Area Agency on Aging.
